The start of Garm's journey:
((ooc: I jokingly reference Nebby and the bag from the video game but this is by no means the same girl and pokemon making an appearance xD ))
Garm’s life was different since his star finding, and before that, his run-in with cosmoem. Those two events were the catalysts for a whole new life-changing journey! Originally he had simply been a wild growlithe living in the mountains near a lake. But one fateful day he caught some young girl trying to shove a cosmoem in a bag and take it away somewhere. Right away Garm jumped into action; biting and pulling on the bag, allowing the flustered cosmoem to get away for the time being. When he regrouped with the legendary, it thanked him, presenting him with a bandana to show its appreciation. It wanted to thank Garm. Shortly after this encounter he started to feel a little different inside. And after stumbling across a strange star, and falling asleep, he awoke with an entirely new form! It was all-around a miraculous experience! His appearance had changed even more! Not only was he now humanoid, his stripes looked like the starryness of the night sky. Just like the way cosmoem appeared. The same could be said for his gorgeous galaxy eyes. A person could get lost staring into them now. He wasn’t really sure what to do with his new appearance and decided to wander into a town inhabited by humans to get some help.
He ended up moving to a slightly bigger city eventually. Life was difficult without having a trainer. But he figured it would at least be easier to get food and find some way to earn a living. Even if he was just a guard ‘dog’ or errand boy.
It’s been awhile now since he’s lived in the city. Now he has lots of friends both human and pokemon alike. He’s still a child though. So he still is working on getting better at his work so he can grow up into a big strong reliable guy.
