It has caused him to close down "those" feelings within himself at this point.

Unexpected Changes (Llyr reacts to being a teen)
"Oh for Zapdos' sake, AGAIN!?" Llyr groaned as he looked down at himself. It was bad enough he'd changed into a weird combination of pokemon and human child but now he looked to resemble one of their teenagers. This was...well crap.
Looking himself over in the reflection of the window he had passed by. He was surprised to see the clothing he'd been wearing now fit him properly. That was...different. It had all been so big and ill fitting so this was actually a nice surprise.
He ran a hand through his hair thoughtfully. Maybe...this wouldn't be as bad as he thought... it was certainly a far cry from the Butterfree who longed to be away from the painful memories of the other Butterfree who'd shined him on and broke his heart. He'd gotten away, and grown in so many ways....
To the point he realized that his aching over her had lessened a lot with time...that too was a nice surprise. Maybe this whole change thing was just what he needed....

Gimme a Beat!(Music store shenanigans)Will & Shou: It was a balmy weekend that had Shousuke and Will out together, chatting amiably as friends often do after a long absence. Work had taken the two friends away from one another for far too long, they had surmised. It was time for a hang out day, and what better way to spend it than kicking it up at a music store? Walking in ahead of Shou, Will held the door open for the smaller male before stuffing her hands back down into the pockets of her loose pants. She knew she was in the right place the moment she heard the music overhead. It sounded a lot like the kind that her band had played when they were still together, and what she attempted to play on her own. If she could manage to sing without sounding too feminine she’d be in business, but alas, that was Shou’s department. “You said you were looking for…what exactly?” “Something to get the clubs blood pumping. I can’t make all the mixed cds, you know. Guys gotta take a break sooner or later.” Shousuke lead his way down one aisle, flipping through cds as he went without ever really stopping on one. “ I mean, I could always start singing….” He grinned sadistically, turning to Will with a mischievous glance. “That would yield results.” She stated stoically, her eyes never leaving the drum kit near the back. It was an alabaster color, and so beautiful….
Phee & Llyr: Phee had become defacto manager at the music store, the previous one up and leaving out of the blue and she the only other person working there. It’d left her with very little free time, and in need of a worker or two. Which was there the rather quiet Butterfree teen came in. He was her new higher, and currently wandering the floor tidying up in the usually busy store in one area, while she got new instruments and such to the floor.
Seeing the pair walk in, Llyr stopped what he was doing, and ambled towards them making sure he was seen so he wouldn’t startle either of them. “Can I help you find anything?” he was still within his first few weeks of working here, but it was a decent job…as far as he could tell what with it being his first and only job ever. Phee glanced over her shoulder at him and gave a thumbs up to him as she carefully set a guitar on a stand. If he needed her, he’d let her know she knew.
Will & Shou: Though Will had been the first to see Llyr approach, it was Shou that took the front man position. "Sort of? I'm the DJ of Underground, which as you can guess, is an underground club-" He gave a little eye roll with a smirk, loving the play on words from his job. It was great. "and the music has gotten stale. Most of the time I make my own mixes, but I'm out of ideas, so I'm kind of poking around for new ones. Testing the field, you know? Got any suggestions?"
After making sure Shou was set up with assistance, she nodded politely to Llyr, and moved past the two towards the drum kit. Her tail had taken notice of the drum sticks on the wall, giving little snaps at them, willing them to be closer so it could chew on them as it did hers…
Phee & Llyr: Llyr listened to the teen talking, his expression unreadable even as his pulse raced a little. What a question to ask of him! He glanced around a moment at the rows of cd’s and such he’d just been straightening up and he walked towards a rather over looked section and selected a couple of cds. “As strange as it sounds…these are good. They’ve got good beats, since it’s African tribal drums and stuff. But it’d give a good back beat. As for something else…” he looked around still in thought. Hm..what would work…
Phee heard the footsteps approaching and so she turned with a smile to the teen walking to her. “Welcome to Brazen Beats, can I help you with anything?” she could see the eyes being made at the drum kit and motioned towards it. “Want to take a closer look?”
Will & Shou: Shousuke cocked a brow, a little concerned when Llyr started to bring out African beats, but after a bit he nodded his head. "Do you have somewhere that I can give these a listen? Or at least a sample? It sounds like a good plan, but I want to make sure before I break out the tribes on these people. Spoiled rich kids would flip on me."
Her tail turned to Phee first, grinning with a wide, manic smile before Will herself turned to look. She nodded, her face mostly impassive. "Is that alright? I wasn't sure if I could, since it's a floor model." Her version of "looking" would be to play the shit out of it, and she was afraid if she got too into it loose bearings from the not fully put together floor model might slip.
Phee & Llyr: "There's a booth back here you can listen to them." he could see the doubtful look on the others face and knew they were warranted. It was an out there sound...and as the other had said, people might flip. "Wouldn't want to start any riots." he unlocked the booth for the other and motioned him in.
Phee laughed and nodded. "Yeah I don't mind if you try it out first. You're not the first person to want to try the instruments out. I try to make sure they're all fully functional and ready to use." and from time to time she and Llyr messed with the instruments and such. Usually during an abnormally slow time. The sounds tended to drag in people from the street at least.
Will & Shou: The small wigglytuff laughed and shook his head. "You wouldn't believe how out of shape club goers can get when you mess with their jams." He followed to the booth, and went inside, taking one last look at Will first. "While we're out of the way here, how much would that drum kit happen to be? My friend theres a little tight on cash, and his is played out, so I'd like to help him out." He peeped around the corner, pointing to Phee and Will. "That one, that one right there. See it?"
A genuine smile lit up Will's face. "Thanks. I haven't been able to play as much lately, and it's been a pain." She moved around to sit, adjusting the seat for her added height. Reaching for the tester sticks, she moved them around in her hands, and checked everything over before ripping into it.
At first the sound was quiet, testing the waters as it were, but as she played her smile grew and so did the sound.
Phee & Llyr: Llyr looked at the kit that was being motioned to, it not hard to figure out what one was meant when the other sat down at the drums to give it a test. “That particular set is three hundred and ninety nine…after taxes closer to four fifteen…but we have a sale right now which would knock about a hundred off that. My boss there is wanting the instruments to move.” Which they hadn’t been lately.
Phee made sure the guy was set and good to go, before she stepped away a moment to finish with the display set ups, keeping half an eye on everything to make sure there was no funny business going on here. Better safe than sorry.
Will & Shou: Shou felt himself wince at the price. Even with the knock off it was still a chunk of change, but he knew he would afford it, tight bills or not. With Tryce camping out on his couch more often than not the bills had gone up, but he knew Will would never be able to pay for it herself. And in truth, he band used to bring in a lot of business to the club when they were still together, so much so that he'd gotten paid extra so it would be a nice bonus. Nodding, he moved inside the booth. "I'll take that too, and couple pairs of sticks as well. Now, let's see about these tribal beats, yeah?" He paused, then looked at Llyr, "Do you play an instrument? Or are you just a music fan? And what about that girl out there, does she play anything?"
Ah-ha, this was awesome! Will was absolutely tearing into this kid, her flop of pink hair moving around on her head as if it were possessed. She'd missed this so much - it was the only real time she felt free. There was no light music coming from her; it was all hard core beats, things that would no doubt carry down the street.
Phee & Llyr: "Sure thing, I'll make sure those get run up and if you give an address we'll set up delivery for the kit." easier than anyone schlepping it around after all. "I play guitar, Phee...my boss there she taught me. That's all I can play. She can play a few instruments though and sings more than she admits to." he'd heard her more than once.
Phee looked up at the beats coming from the drum, a smile on her face. The guy was good, that's for sure! A natural it would seem though she suspected there was a lot of practice behind the playing. The bell over the door rang, and she glanced up to a group of guys coming in. With a laugh, Phee looked to Will. "Want a job sitting there playing to draw in customers?" she was only partially joking!
Will & Shou: "Sounds like a deal. I'll write it down later when we check out. Maybe even keep it a surprise." Oh, she'd have a field day with that! Grinning, he leaned back against the booth and pondered. "You two wouldn't happen to be interested in a band, would you? I mean, Will out there, he plays drums, obviously and has been looking back to getting into the business, but hasn't been able to since his bandmates went off. One got married, the other went back to school, things like that."
Will laughed. "I wouldn't mind the practice, if you don't mind me showing up." When she was't working with her sister, she wouldn't mind the extra time to just get stress out of her life. "I'm not so good with pop songs, though."
Phee & Llyr: "That sounds like a good idea, I'm sure your friend would appreciate the surprise." Llyr was about to move away from the booth when he blinked at the band question, and gave an almost shy nod. "That'd be kind of cool I think. I can always talk to Phee, she might be up for it too." he couldn't speak for her after all.
There was a laugh from the Manaphy teen and something of a grin. "Not exactly a pop song sort of music store anyhow, so you're welcome to play what you want whenever you drop in." why not? She was already proving to be good for business. "I'll pay you for the time you spend here too, how's $12 an hour sound?"

Can you die from a broken heart? (Lyla reunited with Llyr and it goes very…very badly.)
You brat!
Those words had echoed after her as she took off to come back to camp, sent a sharp pang to her heart though she didn’t know why that was the case. Maybe that he’d pulled a prank on her that could have harmed her, then couldn’t get away from her fast enough…then that. Why did I kiss his cheek!? Ugh that was so stupid of me!
Those thoughts tormented her over the following week as she healed up, as she attempted, and failed to make a new bow to replace the one she’d broken on her first encounter with him. Her camp had been slightly relocated a little further down stream from where she’d been mostly because the area she’d been in was starting to be noticeable affected by her constant coming and going and she didn’t want to really harm the area. And putting a little distance between the two of us isn’t so bad a small voice told her.
A week. She’d said she’d be back in a week…and yet that week came and went without her so much as attempting to go back to see Kenley, convinced he didn’t want her around given how their last meeting had ended. She wasn’t sure what had been making her feel hot and flushed and sick, but it had passed by the time she’d returned to her tent, so that had been a plus at least. Her arm hadn’t fully healed up till just past the one week mark. Eight days it took to heal. At twelve days she still hadn’t returned to where she knew Kenley waited.
No, instead finally she gathered her things, the money she’d made from all her bartering, and other items she couldn’t use to sell them and had gone into the city. It had been beyond bewildering to her, all bright and bustling and noisy. She’d gotten lost more than once, and felt stressed beyond words. She’d found some place to sell the things she didn’t need though not for as much as she had kind of hoped, but she’d found an older book on berries like she’d been wanting at least, and that had only cost her a small amount of money. Still once she found a place to buy a bow she was nearly kicked out for being a child! Still, she managed to sweet talk her way into being allowed to stay and talk. Amazingly, she’d also managed to get one. She’d pulled a (totally bogus) sob story about how it was her older brothers birthday but he was sick, but had wanted a new bow, and couldn’t she please buy him his birthday present?
Her tears had worked in her favor and she beamed at the man as she handed over all of the money she had, he overlooking the missing few dollars and letting her go. Never had she been so glad to leave a place as she was the city, her head was already pounding from the noise and smells. How could people live there? She just wasn’t sure!
Following the street back out of town, she followed the river to get home not caring it was growing late. Very late, and down right dark. There was just enough moon out so she could see her way without worry, but she hoped she’d be back to her tent soon she was so tired by this point and down right hungry, having long ago eaten the food taken with her. As she walked she saw a movement ahead, a tall, looming shape and she stifled a gasp of fear and hid behind a tree watching.
She could make out the shapes of others some distance off, all spread out sleeping, and this one…wandering. Seeing the person crouch at the waters edge made her realize that the person was thirsty and that’s why they were wandering. The light reflected in just the right way for Lyla to make out features and she gasped in surprise.
“Llyr! Is that really you?” she watched as the teen’s head jerked up and towards her a surprised look on his face at someone knowing his name! “It’s me, it’s Lyla! You know, the ledyba from Bobby’s pokemon who..” “I know who you are, be quiet before you wake them all up would you?” his words were harsh and surprised her, though she knew he was being harsh for a good reason. No sense in waking the others with her excitement of having finally found him.
“I’ve been searching for you for so long brother! I’ve been worried about you, and was hoping I would find you so we could travel together just like before when Bobby kicked us both out.” Her words while no less excited were at least quiet. She didn’t notice the slight narrowing of his eyes, the grimace. “Don’t call me that.” “What?” “Brother. I’m not your brother. I’m not even your friend. We were teammates, and not by choice.” “But I…”
He held a hand to silence her. “Look kid, I don’t have time to have you tagging along with me. I’m with a group of others, and we’re on an important journey. I don’t need some chatty, bossy, know-it-all ledyba slowing us all down.” “But…Llyr…I…” she reached out for him, fingers curling around his arm and he shook her off, shoving her away from him perhaps harder than he meant to as she collided with a tree, a soft hiss of pain coming from her at the contact. “Don’t touch me. Geez. You just don’t listen do you? Before I had to like you, because we were expected to, but you know what Lyla? Not only did I not like you, no one else did either. You didn’t listen to any of us when we tried to help you. No, Lyla knew best, Lyla didn’t need our help. You were pathetic and couldn’t even win in a battle once!”
Lyla was stunned by the tirade. Was…she really that bad? She reached out for Llyr again and once more her hand was slapped away from him, knocking the bow loose though she didn’t really pay attention at that point to losing her grip. “Don’t. Just don’t! I’m not your brother, your friend, or anything else. Just forget about me, geez that whole searching for me thing is down right creepy!” she was moving forward again, angry now. “You told me we would always be friends, that you’d look out for me, to think of you like a brother! You lied to me!” “Anything to get you to shut up and stop being a know-it-all!” she swung at him, tears of anger and sadness pricking at her eyes and he shoved her again, causing her to fall backwards again, landing against the tree harder and sliding down a little. The way she fell a pouch was spilled and she hurriedly picked everything up and jammed it in without paying attention.
As she did so, she felt a sharp pain in her hand and jerked her hand back out of the pouch, seeing the blood welling up at the base of a finger and she brought the wound to her mouth to suck away the spot of blood, not realizing for the moment she’d been stabbed by the stinger Kenley had given her from his Poison Sting. No instead she was staring at Llyr, tears welling up in her eyes. “Don’t follow me Lyla. I have a new life now, that doesn’t include you. I don’t need you. I don’t want you. Just…get lost. Drop dead. I don’t care just go.”
His glare was such that she quailed under it, tears spilling down her cheeks as she wobbled to her feet, her back aching from where it hit the tree, though the second spot seemed to hurt worse, and it felt like her shirt was sticking to her back a little. Must’ve been sweat, because she realized she was sweating like crazy, and her heart was hammering, and she was light headed. She also couldn’t stop crying, racking sobs of heart break at finally finding Llyr, her brother…and being tossed away like unwanted trash.
Llyr caught sight of the bow laying there and groaned. Just great….he had a feeling she needed that and as much as he didn’t want to chase her down, he did start after her. It was still late enough at night it wouldn’t be an issue. Lyla wasn’t exactly being careful in how she ran off, nor quiet but she was fast, much more so than he was and he lost her trail more than once. To the point he was wandering lost trying to locate her, gripping her bow, and growing angrier by the minute. Why him!?
Lyla was sobbing, tears streaming down her face, and she paused to throw up at once point, assuming it was the stress of everything, her horrid crying. She stopped to splash water on her hands and face, wincing at the pain in her hand, at how hot it felt. The spot she was stabbed felt sore, and swollen, and she felt so sick… she vaguely realized she’d stabbed herself on his stinger, and had poisoned herself as a result.
“Kenley’s gonna be…so mad..” words were mumbled around her tears, though she had a new round start up at the idea of him being mad at her too! “Llyr hates me…Kenley…he already was mean to me…don’t need him hating me. I just won’t go back. He can’t get mad if he doesn’t know.” That made sense to her feverish mind! She paused again, heaving into bushes as she clung to a slender tree before she was stumbling off again, searching bushes for…something. What was she looking for? She…couldn’t recall. She had the book, pictures to look at and even that was forgotten. “Where’m I?”
She had been wandering..and was lost now. Didn’t see the river, or anywhere she recognized. Lyla kept walking, even though she was feeling weaker by the moment, and finally she just stopped walking, and curled up on her side under an overly large bush, it’s leaves just barely concealing her…and she cried. Oh how she cried. Llyr hated her. Kenley hated her. She was sick. Kenley hated her. Llyr hated her. Kenley hated her.
Her eyes closed as she shivered thanks to the side effects of the poison, tears still trickling down her cheeks, heart breaking…but was it because Llyr hated her? Or because she thought Kenley did? She thought she was dying…could a pokemon die of a broken heart?
It was now extremely early on the thirteenth day, since she'd said she'd come back to see Kenley.

Exposed (Secrets, feelings and more)
Will There wasn’t much room in the lounge backstage, but it was enough to give Will the space she needed to breath. With two extra songs in the mix she had been really been pouring herself into each beat. It was nice to have a gig so well received, but it left aches in her body. Her back hurt when she stood straight, and her arms felt like gelatin. As far as Willemina was aware, the rest of her band had already called it quits for the night and had gone home long ago. So she didn’t have any qualms with stripping down in the private lounge, leaving her clothes on the back of a chair, and slipping into the rinky dink shower provided. It wasn’t much, just a stall, a mirror, and a john but they had sample cleaning supplies which called out to her. Every part of Will was so drenched in sweat that she couldn’t breathe without smelling the stench. Deftly she turned on the shower, waited for the water to reach it’s peek temperature, and stepped in under the soothing warmth.
Llyr Llyr had finished packing up the van with the stuff to take back to the music store, Phee had left with Alchemy some time before after he'd promised to get it all back there and lock up. They'd been approached by the venue owner, asking them about playing again the next week and the two of them had agreed. Though of course Will needed asked, and so Phee promised a call as soon as they'd talked to Will.
He hasn't seen Will leave so assumed their drummer was still around somewhere and so wandered inside in search of him. Looking around he spied womens under clothes laying in the lounge and got a grin on his face. "Well, well. Will has himself a bit of a fan..." it was something their quiet drummer was in the middle of a tryst! He heard the shower running and went to the door to knock on it. "Hey man, I need to talk to you when you're...done..."
Will There had been that slight blissful moment that only comes when lathering ones hair. It had been so nice and relaxing that Will wasn’t prepared for the sudden knock on the door. The realization of what was being said was even longer, and then the horror sat in. Llyr was outside, in the lounge…and he had seen her stuff?! She grasped the soap so hard that it slid out of her hands, hit the ceiling and dropped onto the floor as she shrieked. Of course it sounded like a woman’s voice. “Can’t I just call you later?” She called out. “You know, so my…my lady friend here doesn’t have to start asking around for her bra, you know. Pretty embarrassing.” He didn’t know the half of it.
Llyr The shriek made Llyr wonder if he'd startled Will's companion or if it was Will himself that had caused the shriek and he had a feeling it might've been a bit of both, and gave a wry sort of a smile. "I'll give you some privacy to finish up and all, and let her get her clothes back on sure." that didn't answer the whole call later thing. But at least he was going to give Will privacy for the moment. He stepped away from the door with a shake of his head. He hadn't seen Will as the type to take a groupie into the shower like that but what did he know?
He looked around the lounge again with an amused smile and stepped out and back to the van to check on it and make sure nothing was going on with their instruments. While he leaned against the side of the van he grew lost in thought and found himself wondering if the Ledyba who'd considered him a brother was doing okay. She hadn't looked so good last time he saw her...and he knew it was his fault. He kept an eye on the time, preparing to step back inside after a reasonable amount of time. Heh. Gotta let Will and his lady friend finish up before I bug him again...
Will Shit. Okay, okay he’s leaving. Will rinsed off as fast as she could and reached for one of the tiny ass towels hanging on a rack. It was stained, but clean. At that moment she wouldn’t have cared if it was a tarp so long as it hid her secret bits. She shut off the water, and stepped out towards the door where she pressed her up to. After so long without a sound Will relaxed. Llyr was probably just waiting for her by the van. What was he going to say after this? She never even spent time around anyone in a sexual kind of way, and now he might have that “band guy” reputation. Great. She was either going to be a player or a slut, depending on the spin. Hopefully she wouldn’t have to fight off groupies. He would have to talk to Llyr about keeping this hush hush. The towel barely covered her front when she held it up, and did nothing to hide her thighs, or her back. But now, with him gone, she wasn’t really caring. Will opened the door, and stepped out to grab her clothes.
Llyr He had completely planned to wait there till Will came out...or some random woman. However the weather decided to have other plans and it began to rain a bit which didn't thrill him. Nor did the idea of sitting inside the van and so with a sigh he pushed away from the van and ran back inside. I'll just wait in the lounge. If the woman's clothes are all over I'll just put them outside the door. he knew it was possible the mystery woman had gone out the back door.
Llyr was stopped as he was getting ready to step into the lounge and asked a question which he was able to answer with the shake of a head, and he turned the knob and stepped inside then thankful to be out of the rain. He was running his free hand through his hair to knock the water out of it...and so wasn't fully paying attention to his surroundings just yet.
Will Llyr may not have been paying attention, but Will sure as hell was. She was in her underclothes, with were a surprisingly feminine shade of purple, and was slipping into her pants when she looked up. Her already pale skin lost its color. For a moment time stopped as her heart did a jig inside of her chest. And then she did the first thing that came to her. Will reached for one of her boots, threw it at him and ran for the bathroom. Which wasn’t much a run at all since she had to hold her pants up. She slammed the door and threw her back against it, breathing as heavily as if she had run a race. “Get out of here, Llyr!” Damn it, she’d left her shirt outside too! And fuck, her binder was out there as well. She may not have had much curves, but they were there. She’d assumed she would have been fine with just the bra since the night was over. Shit shit shit shit.
Llyr He'd looked up and caught a glimpse of something purple before a boot came flying at his head and clonked him smack in the face a moment. "Fucking hell Will!" Llyr wasn't one to swear much, but that had hurt like crazy! He brought a hand up to his face and realized his nose was bleeding and he had nothing to stop it, and he wasn't about to stain his clothes. So he clapped a hand over his nose and went to the bathroom and turned the handle. "I deed toidet pader...you hit be in deh nose..." his words were stuffed up due to pinching his nose to stem the bleeding and he looked less than please. "Hodestly...dot like I'b neber seen a guy naked." obviously since he himself was one.
Will Will winced from behind the door. She hadn’t seen the hit, but Llyr sounded pretty banged up. Those boots weighed a ton, after all! She clamped her hand down over the door handle to try and stop the jiggling. “I’ll hand you out some, but you can’t come in, dammit!” She never usually talked this much, let alone to one person, but Will was seriously freaked out. Had he seen? Apparently not, but damn, things were so close. “Close your eyes and I’ll open the door to give you the toilet paper.” Man she felt horrible. What if he passed out from blood lose? She wasn’t a nurse, and if she called for anyone things would get sticky.
Llyr There was a sigh from him. A very audible, very annoyed sort of a sigh. "I tade id you dwo ared't dode id dere." he winced at his bad his voice sounded and risked letting go of his nose. "Didn't mean you had to throw a boot at me man geez. It's raining outside and I didn't want to sit in the van freezing. Once you two finish up, I'll give you a lift so you're not drenched. Her too if she wants." well why not offer?
Still there was another long suffering sigh from Llyr and he did close his eyes for the moment. "My eyes are closed, can we hurry up? Maybe some wet toilet paper too so I can look less like a ghoul? My face feels stiff with drying blood."
Will She couldn’t honestly say she understood that last muffle statement. He sounded pretty annoyed, though, which didn’t bode well. “I’m sorry man, I shouldn’t have tossed the boot at you. I’m just freaky private…” Will was trying to cover her ass, but her hand was still shaky and clenched on the door handle. He thinks she’s still here. That was both a blessing and a curse. She could pass off the clothing if he didn’t ask too many questions, but how would she explain the lack of female groupie? “Okay, opening the door.” Will did, but not before peeking to make sure he was good on his word. She buttoned her pants around her waist really quick, and even though she didn’t like it, took the towel from around her chest to expose just the bra. Wasn’t like he was looking anyway, right? Taking his hand, she led him to sit on top of the closed toilet. “Just…sit there, and I’ll wet this towel so I can get you cleaned up.” She ran some warm water in the sink, unaware of her tails less than admirable intentions. Its grinning mouth saw Llyr’s wings as a prime snack. Or a chew toy. Either way it reached out for a bite.
Llyr Llyr felt his hand be grabbed and he tugged into the bathroom and he went with, glad at least things were beginning to be less painful figuratively and literally. Carefully perching on the edge of the toilet lid he gave a wry smile. "It's alright, sorry for bugging you when you're just trying to have some fun and all. He couldn't hear anyone else in the room, but it didn't mean the woman was sort of trying to slip out unnoticed and he was going to give her the chance. None of his business who his bandmate was getting it on with.
He was content to just sit there so he could get his face cleaned up when he felt something biting down on his wing. His very sensitive, tender wing...and he let out a yelp of pain as his eyes flew open. "Jesus christ Will, get your tail under control!" he wasn't jerking away afraid of tearing them and ruining them. Instead he was gripping the edge of the toilet. Only to realize that this wasn't Will he was staring at.... it was a chick!
"Whoa...where's Will...." though he looked at the woman closely, and his eyes widened and he about jumped to his feet, the teeth in his wing the only thing (barely) keeping him in check. "....WILL!?"
Will She was too busy taking the end of the towel and running it under hot water to worry about her tail, or its activities. She shrieked when he shrieked, and she jumped, only to feel a tug. It didn’t take her long to realize what had happened. “Sorry, shit, sorry!!” Turning, Will grabbed it in a rough hold and used her hands to pry the mouth open. When there was enough rough, she yanked it away from his wings and stuffed the used wash cloth in its mouth. “Arceus…are they damaged? I’m sorry, I-“
“You said you would keep your eyes shut?! She looked around for something to cover herself, but there was nothing, so she had to stand there…in a bra…in front of Llyr. The same man she had tossed a boot at, busted his nose and possibly damaged his wing. Her cheeks could not have been more inflamed. She couldn’t run, though, not with him hurt like that. So Will reached out to put her hands on his shoulders and shove him back down to sit. It wasn’t as gentle as she had been before, mostly because she was too busy trying not to hyperventilate. “D-don’t stand up like that or you’ll pass out.” Will grumbled, and grabbed the wet towel. “And close your damn eyes.”
Llyr He was sure he'd been smacked in the face a little too hard. He was seeing things right? Will wasn't standing in front of him in a purple bra.... What the hell had he stuffed it with? Pudding filled balloons seemed out of the question. Toilet paper? Maybe it was one of those new fangled push up ones he'd seen...but no he'd have to have some to push it up. So he figured it was a costume bra from a costume shop...a very convincing costume bra wow.
"What? I..." he fluttered his wings carefully and while they were a little sore, they were at least whole. "They'll be fine in a little bit." that was a good thing really. He didn't know what he'd have done if his wings had stopped working right.
He felt himself being shoved back down and he did sit...but as he did he couldn't help but reach out and took a handful of Will's "fake bra" into his hand and gave it a squeeze in amazement. "Dude, not only does your fake bra look real but it feels real too! So warm and squishy." it couldn't have helped that in the split second of speaking his other hand hand come up and he was full on manhandling Will's "fake boobs" not realizing the truth.
Will Will tried not to look at Llyr’s face while she was attempting to clean up his nose. Her hands were shaky, but so long as she was focused on the task then she wouldn’t have time to worry. The skitty was out of the bag, right? Couldn’t get any worse…. She couldn’t move. Will was literally frozen stiff for a second before she leaned back and full on slapped him across his face, not giving a shit about his busted nose. “THEY’RE NOT FAKE, ASSHOLE.” The teen dropped the towel onto the ground and looked like she was about to cry out of frustration. She tried backing into the wall, but there wasn’t much space to maneuver and she had already been sort of straddling him in the bathroom to begin with. Still, she looked for a way out and awkwardly lifted her leg over his before booking it out of the bathroom. A split second later she leaned back, grabbed the handle and slammed it closed, putting some much needed distance between them. Will didn’t waste a second. She took off her bra, almost breaking it she was tugging so hard and fumbled around for her binder. It was probably the fastest she had ever put the damn thing on and she was struggling to find her shirt in the chaos. I’m leaving. I’ll find another band, another town, change my name.. She found her boots first and put them on, foregoing socks. Will couldn’t stop shaking though. This was TERRIBLE. Llyr wouldn’t talk to her again, he would tell Phee, Phee would fire her and then…then…Will was having a hard time breathing.
Llyr It was a good thing that Will had been half straddling him, it kept him from being knocked off the toilet when he was slapped. Damn....Will's strong.... and he shook his head to clear the sudden ringing in his ears, more than a little dazed by the hit. In fact he was so dazed Will had completely vacated the bathroom..and for several moments before he got his bearing.
Lurching to his feet he barely spared a glance for the mirror, at the blood flowing from his nose again. Her words were now ringing in his head 'THEY’RE NOT FAKE, ASSHOLE.' so that meant that Will was a...a... "Shit, Will's a girl and I just grabbed her breasts...great..." he was sure she was going to hate him honestly, and he didn't blame her, he'd been an unintentional ass.
He stumbled out into the lounge area and rather than approach Will he went to the door and leaned against it, holding his hands up, palms out towards her. "Will wait. I'm sorry for that. I honestly thought they were fake. Hell I thought you were a guy! Please calm down and don't leave....please?" his eyes were wide, and pleading even as blood dripped down his lips and onto his shirt. He was pretty sure Will could take him if it came to a physical altercation at this point.
Will He was blocking her exit and it made her nervous as hell. So much so that she slowly bent down, reaching for the boot. For the first time in her life someone had touched her breasts and he thought they were fake. Not even surgically fake, like transvestite fake. Which she was, but the other way? It was too complicated for her to think about at the moment. Even without her makeup on at that point she had marks on her cheeks from tears. She cried when she was frustrated and it was almost as embarrassing as being caught without a shirt. At least now with her binder on her breasts weren’t showing, so when she stood up she didn’t feel as exposed. Her tail swayed around to smirk at him, chomping down on the wet washcloth. “Why shouldn’t I leave? Why can’t I? I-I-“ She ran a hand through her wet hair, huffed and looked at the ceiling to calm herself. “Shit man, you’re bleeding again and I did that. I can’t do anything right. I can’t fix you, I can’t get away, I just…what do you want from me?!” She raked her hand down her scalp, and took a deep breath. “I’m sorry, I should have said something, but it just…never came up.”
Llyr "Whoa hey no boot." he was side stepping away from that door, not at all keen on being whacked in the face again. Will had a wicked arm and didn't want to chance getting his nose broken with another thrown boot! Of course as he moved, he tripped over the previously thrown one and went tumbling to the floor with a bit of a thud. At least he landed on his back and not his face. His luck he'd have broken his nose if he had!
"Just want to talk...but I get it. You don't want to." he groaned some and stayed where he was laying and thinking 'fuck it' he wiped his sleeve over his face to clean off the blood. He'd just buy a new shirt at this point honestly. "Not sure I understand why you dress like a guy and all but it's cool. I don't care if you're a guy dressing as a girl, or girl as a guy alright?" he sat himself up with a groan and reached for the boot he'd tripped over and held it up. "Here. You'll need this. Like I said, raining outside." he wasn't trying to stop her from going, it was too hazardous to his health.
Will Will waited until she was sure Llyr wouldn’t try to stop her, or grab her again. Logically she knew he wouldn’t have done it if he had known, but still…it was all too weird. She was still reaching for the boot when he fell over the other. “Llyr!” Instead of fleeing she actually moved to help him. He didn’t land on his face, thank Arceus, but he hadn’t exactly landed on a pillow. She crouched beside him, before moving back to the bathroom for the towel. “I don’t not want to talk, I’m just…I dunno, nervous?” She rinsed off the blood as best she could, rewet it and moved back to the lounge. Will bend down to sit on her knees infront of him. Like this she wasn’t much different from a regular guy. A guy with hips and effeminate arms, but a guy. She reached out for his head, then chickened out and just handed him the towel before sitting back on her butt. “I don’t look like a girl, not a normal one anyway and people just kept calling me Will since my name didn’t make sense. It just worked a lot easier.” She didn’t know why she was explaining to him. Maybe because he’d been beaten up just trying to talk to her? Taking her boot, she fumbled with the buckles. “Thanks for…not running screaming. Like I did. And I’m sorry about…well, everything. You look like you got in a fight with a door right now.”
Llyr "I look like I got into a fight with a baddass is what I look like." he was mumbling into the towel as he worked on cleaning his face up though without the mirror he couldn't see where he missed...and he had missed a good portion that was still stained red. As was his hands and he cleaned those up the best he could before he reached out and brushed a thumb over the others cheek. "Sorry for making you cry."
His hand dropped back down as he leaned against a wall with a groan. His face hurt, his wing hurt, his head hurt and he still had to drive the van back to the store. "Give you a ride home so you don't get drenched?" he rubbed his hand over the back of his head lightly glad there was no forming lump. Meant the slight ache would go away quickly. "Secret's safe with me okay? I don't want to get clobbered again for spilling the beans." he gave a teasing smile as he said that and eased to his feet carefully, before holding a hand out to Will. "C'mon lets get out of here. Also...the venue owner wants to know if we'd be willing to play again next weekend. I'm supposed to ask you and let Phee know, so she can call in the morning." things were normal as ever. Just Will was a chick, not a dude.
Will “A badass boot, maybe.” She couldn’t help grinning a little as she twisted her boot around on her lap. Will still felt extremely guilty, but in some cases he had maybe deserved it. Just a little. It was oddly touching, the way he reached out for her cheek, and it helped to calm her. “Don’t be. It happens when I get frustrated.” Moving for the towel, she leaned forward to help clean off his face. “You missed some.” When she had it cleaned up enough she stood, using his hand as a springboard, and took the towel to the trash as opposed to the bathroom basket. She moved around the room, snatching up pieces of clothing and putting it on now that the damage had been done. Her makeup was gone thanks to the shower, but it didn’t matter in the long run. “Are you sure you can drive? Do you want me to take over?” Will pulled on her jacket over her tank and just like that, almost all semblance of femininity was gone from sight. “Next weekend sounds good with me. Least I can do after all this.” She smiled.
Llyr "Bad ass boot, thrown by a wicked arm." he was chuckling softly as he said that, a smile given. He was glad to see the other was calming down, it was a good thing honestly. "Ahh tear ducts wired to frustration. That's got to be annoying." he sat still as the last of the blood was cleaned from his face and he gave a warmer smile. "Thank you for cleaning that up for me." he definitely appreciated it. He'd draw less attention when they stepped out.
He did ponder just how good he was feeling, and without an argument reached into his pocket and pulled out the van keys. "They're all yours. Probably safer for both of us if I don't drive just yet. If you drive yourself to your place, I'll get the van back to the shop and unload." it seemed like the best way to go about things at this point. "Man. If I didn't know better...I wouldn't know you're all curvy under those clothes. It's something."
Will She took his keys, and nodded. “I’d have to agree. Can’t have you passing out on me while driving. Though, I’m just going to drive to the shop, help unload and call Bethanne to drive out to get me.” The less time he spent on the road, the better! Still, she had to flush. “It’s not like I’m hiding a sex bomb, so don’t make it out like that. It’s pretty easy to hide anyway with the right gear.” Binders, baggy pants and coats were her best friends. Not only did they look cool, but they hid almost everything.
Llyr "I think I like that idea better. It'll get the van unloaded that much quicker too honestly." then he could walk home since he didn't live too far from the shop. Maybe the rain would help clear his head a little. Finally he opened the door to the lounge and stepped out, glad to see it was pretty deserted. He really didn't want to answer any questions about why he was covered in blood!
"Sex bomb...that could be the name of our next song." he gave a laugh as he leaned against the side of the van again waiting. He didn't care it was raining just then, it honestly felt sort of refreshing. As was, despite his head clearing...his thoughts were still jumbled and he was trying to work through some things. He'd always found Will interesting, and he'd been wondering if he was drawn to guys now....and maybe he was. Though with Will being female it left those thoughts sort of confusing. Did he like guys? Girls? Both?
Will She shut the lights off behind them and pulled the door closed after grabbing her bag. She hoisted the light duffle over her shoulder. The rain didn’t bother her much, considering she’d never really gotten a chance to get properly dry, and she just shook her head at his weird suggestion. “It might fit, but I’ll have to think on it. “ Will opened up the van to toss in her bag and settled into the driver’s seat. She pushed her wet mop of hair out of her face with a sigh. The teen was exhausted, and not just from the concert. Today had been really, really draining. “You coming or are you gonna stand outside all day?” She called out before shutting the door.
Llyr "Hold onto your boots man, I'm coming. I was trying to clear my head. It sort of worked." sort of. He wasn't at out of it from pain and dazed but his thoughts were definitely jumbled none the less. He'd already stowed his things in the back so he got into the van and got himself settled in.
"So Bethanne, does she know?" simply curious really. He didn't know what sort of an answer he was expecting there either. It wouldn't surprise him one way or the other he was realizing though. "And we're cool now right? Not going to try doing a runner once at the shop or anything?" he was making sure he hadn't really screwed things up with his bandmate and coworker!
Will "Oh yeah, she knows." She started up the van and buckled herself in. "She hates it, though. Says I should just own up to being a girl since I don't see myself as a guy, anyway. She still calls me by my real name and not the nickname. That, I'll keep a secret." No one needed to know she was called Willemina. Arceus, SHE didn't need to know it but there it was, starting at it. "Nah, I don't think so. So long as we're cool and you don't say anything, I'm fine. I was just worried it might be weird between us, but I think...I think I'm cool."
Llyr "You know, I wasn't sure if you were going to tell me yes or no...and it left me wondering how you'd have hidden it if not." he sounded thoughtful, though there was a tilt of his head. "Then why do you do it? Dress like one and keep yourself from looking like a girl if you don't see yourself as a guy?" he wasn't sure he understood the reason. "Also, if you don't want to discuss it, it's fine. " he didn't want smacked again! "Not my story to tell, so don't worry I won't tell anyone. It's between me, you, and the towel back there." he was glad it was a short trip to the shop, and that they only needed to get things set inside. Phee would fix it up in the morning she'd said. So out of the van it was. "Why don't you give your sister a call real quick, won't take long to get this all inside after all. No sense in waiting till we're done, then having to wait in the rain."
He eased from the van then and ran to the shop and got the keys out and unlocked the door, and disabled the alarm so they could unload. "Alright we're good, lets unload!" the sooner, the better!
Will As she drove she found some sort of comfort in the wide, open, dark roadways. There were less people out this time of night, and it made it easier to talk about it in the dark. “When I…changed the kids I played with just called me ‘he’. ‘He’s a great goalie, he’ll kick your butt, he can’t come out today’. When I tried to explain it they just wrote me off. I looked like a boy, so I was one. Changing was weird enough without trying to fight that battle too.” She drove closer to the shop and found a good place to park. It had been a short ride, which was great because she was still feeling pretty damn awkward. “Alright, just give me a sec and I’ll get out to help you.” She dialed up Bethanne, explaining that she needed to be picked up and she suspected that Bethanne knew she’d been crying. Will for all her stoicism was not a good liar. Well, beyond gender bending. When she hung up she stepped out, threw open the door and started grabbing stuff to pack it in. “Anymore questions? Ask now or forever hold your peace.”
Llyr "Well that makes sense. Sounds like things at least went easier for you that it did for me. The trainer I had when I first changed was a real jerk. Sent me packing with nothing to my name. It was for the best though really, it wasn't somewhere I wanted to be any more anyhow." after being shunned by Penelope and her dying. Nope not anywhere he cared to be anymore.
"It's fine. I'll get smaller stuff in first, and we'll go from there." he did work on unloading a few instrument stands, a smaller amp letting the other make her phone call. "I sort of do, but I'm not quite sure how to phrase my question without sounding like a jerk or something." and he'd already had his foot in his mouth plenty that night!
Will “That’s…woah, that’s rough buddy.” Words didn’t seem really fitting for that kind of thing. “My trainer was pretty easy going with Bethanne and I, despite my oddities. We stay in touch but she isn’t around as often now.” They just went on their own separate ways, really. Bethanne was closer to Ava, but Will only talked to her on holidays. She reached for a larger amp and started to pack it in. “…Dude, you kind of assaulted me tonight and I hit you in the face with a boot. I don’t think one question is going to make this any worse.” She sat it down inside and went out for more.
Llyr His face flamed at the whole 'assaulted' thing, and he ducked his head as he reached for the other side of the amp to lift it down out of the van so she could wheel it inside from there. It was easier than fussing with the ramp in this rain.
"Really am sorry about that." oh was he ever! Not a great impression he was aware! "That's good you keep in touch with your trainer, my old one can go suck a rock." seriously! "Dating...how does that work for you? I mean....I'm sort of curious if you don't mind my asking." like which way did she swing, how did those she was potentially interested in react when they found out. It was something he wasn't making guesses on!
Will Will was just glad that she had been reaching for the drum kit when he asked. She hid her face in the van for a while, face pretty much the color of a flaming beat. “I…ugh, well…” She stood up, holding onto a snare and shifted. “I..kind of don’t date?” Why did he have to ask that? Of all things! Will scurried into the store under the pretense of avoiding the rain, but really she just wanted to crawl under a rock. “I like guys, if that’s what you’re asking. But I don’t get hit on by straight guys, so it’s weird.” She’d been kissed, but not romantically. Mostly just someone being desperate because she hadn’t picked up on their flirting. No dates, no cute texts, no…Thinking on how Llyr was basically the first one outside of Bethanne that had seen her in her skivvy’s just made things all the worse. “What about you, how does dating for you? It’s different for everyone, you know, not just me.”
Llyr He was aware he'd embarassed her, he could see the flush on her face thanks to the light over the shop and the street lights but he didn't comment on it. He knew it was his fault she was blushing. "Ohhh gay guys hit on you. Ouch." he gave a frown as he said that. "Oh...I...well the last time I tried I was actually a pokemon still. Our trainer, he'd had a female butterfree as well...and I liked her a lot and she didn't feel the same and told me off...and died not too long after. I never bothered to try after that."
Nope, he hadn't. Which was why things these days had been bothering him...and he was worried about more than being shot down honestly. He grabbed Phee's guitar and carried it inside then, shaking the water from his hair as he did. "You've had better luck than me, never been hit on even by a guy." there was a shrug and a chuckle. Though he was acting on impulse then...impulse born of uncertainty...and feelings he was trying to reconcile and he leaned in and he kissed her lightly...and braced for being decked again. "Knowing you're a girl...and like guys makes me a little less confused on what I've been feeling though. I wasn't sure if I'd developed a stronger attraction to guys than I'd realized, or what..." words uttered softly.
Will “Yeah, it’s really odd, especially when I like them, they like me…then they say something about liking a guy and it fizzles.” It had only happened once, but man, it still burned. She’d really like the guy too, but he was super into other guys. She just never noticed. “I’m sorry that she died, regardless of what happened between you two.” She started setting the drum kit up, not really in a good position mind you, just something easier so that Phee wouldn’t have to do so much work in the morning. When she stood back up, so close to him, she’d been ready to talk and then he…freaked her the fuck out. She stepped back, knocking over a drum in the process that she struggled to set up again. “W-what are you doing?” When she stood back up, Will’s hair shadowed one eye but the other was trained on him. “Is this a joke? You being all nice to me after learning I’m a freak? Or are you still pretending I’m a guy?”
Llyr "I can see where that would be a huge problem yeah." he gave a sympathetic smile, he'd not ever dealt with that, but he could only imagine how much that had to sting to have that happen! Much like her reaction stung.
It made him step back as well, and his antennae drooped a little, and his eyes went wide. "Wh..what? No! I even told you I liked a girl before! I mean guys are nice, but I like girls more!" he was staring at her in wide eyed surprise. He'd expected a bad reaction but not this! he let out a sigh and turned away from her. "I'll finish unloading the van. Just...wait here for your sister so you stay dry." his voice was soft...flat. He'd been rejected again and now he just didn't see a point to bothering anymore. It seemed to cause more pain than it was worth really. He stepped back outside before she could say anything. Only to realize that the only things left in the van about now were their personal belongings. So he merely sighed and shouldered his own bag and locked up the van after grabbing Wills. Which he set just inside the door without going in himself.
Once she left, he'd set the alarm, lock up and head home... and proceed to quit his job and all. No way was he facing Will anymore after this. He'd made such an utter ass of himself tonight. Why did he think he'd be liked in return? That he stood a chance with someone like Will. Male or female. There was no tears, just a sharp ache and a lot of emptyness.
Will She didn’t know what to say. Will watched him go outside with a lost look, and reached up to touch her lips. It had been the softest, barest kiss she’d ever had, and he…He was real. Llyr wasn’t even playing around with her, and he knew what she was. She started to move without saying much, seemingly to grab her bag, but she stepped outside without bothering to touch it. “Hey.” Bolstering her confidence, she called out to him to demand his attention just enough to get him to look at her. Without even bother to register if he had, she grabbed him up by his shirt color, pushed him up against the side of the building…and kissed him back. It wasn’t much, the rushed sloppy kiss of a beginner, and when it was over she let him go. Her tail was snapping at raindrops and was breathing as raggedly as she was. To have her own feelings validated in someone else, and to have them know…she hadn’t been able to bear the thought of him leaving. “I didn’t want you to go.” She said at length. “Not like that…If you want to now, I won’t stop you. I just wanted you to know that I didn’t reject you.”
Llyr He was lost in his own personal raincloud, not even registering the rain falling on him. Nope, his little cloud was darker, wetter. His heart felt like crying at the rejection. So he hadn't noticed her stepping outside. Though her calling out to him made some part of him pause a moment, wondering what she had in store for him. Probably going to slap me again. No less than I deserve I guess.
His thoughts weren't so introverted though that he missed her grabbing his shirt collar, or pushing him up against the side of the building. He was almost certain she was about to kick the crap out of him when he felt her lips on his and his eyes went wide in surprise before they closed as he kissed back as best as he could manage before she pulled away. When his eyes opened again, he was looking at her, and he gave her a soft smile. "I thought you were about to beat me up for kissing you..." that would have been horrible, but at least something of a reaction. He couldn't help but reach out, a hand resting against her cheek lightly.
"I really do like you Will."
Will “It had crossed my mind.” Will admitted honestly. “I wasn’t expecting it. I didn’t think that you thought anything of me beyond a bandmate.” She’d been so used to just clamping down on her crushes that she hadn’t even considered whether or not he was actually into her. “I really like you too, Llyr.” Awkwardly, she reached out to put her hands on his hips…just as a light illuminated the building behind her. She groaned and hung her head. Bethanne pulled her little hatchback around the curb and rolled down the window. “Hey sweetie, sissy’s here! For goodness sakes, you two, what are you doing…in the…rain…should I go back around the block?” Even as she said it Bethanne was twisting in her seat, trying to keep a better look. It was so strange to see her sister with a…whatever the relationship was, this was as intimate as she’d ever seen Will! “No, I’ll get my bag.” She’d been humiliated even for one evening. Turning to Llyr, she took his hand from her cheek and kissed his palm. “Call me, okay?” Will walked away to grab her bag, and when she passed him again she could barely look at him. Her cheeks were bright, and there was a definite smile on her face. When she got in the car, Bethanne kept waving. “We’re having dinner this Sunday! You’ve just got to come.” “Sis-“ “Oh, pfft.” Bethanne stuck out her tongue. “Are you dating him? What’s going on I need-“ “Just drive Bethanne.”
Llyr "I'm glad you didn't. You've beaten me enough tonight. Save some of me for you to smack around later if you need." he was laughing softly, and the cloud of depression that had settled over him had blown away as quickly as it had descended. "I did, I was just trying to work through my own feelings and reservations and all, but you know everything tonight sort of helped me out...even if you threw your boot at me."
The headlights made him groan internally, but he knew Bethanne had been on her way so it wasn't a surprise she was here. "I'll call you later, promise." he smiled at the kiss to his palm, fingers curling around it. There was a soft laugh at the dinner invitation and a wink. "Will and I will talk about that when I call later." it seemed the best way to go about it. Will might not want him there. "Good night Will, Bethanne." he raised his other hand as they drove away and he turned to arm the alarm and locked up, his own bag shouldered before he started the walk home, whistling softly as he meandered through the rain. Suddenly life seemed glorious.
