- Overview: Sprigatito is a kitten that comes with it’s own tall grass to hide behind. That is to say, it is a longhaired, green cat. Licking its fur allows it to absorb water and sunlight.

- Overview: Unlike its anthropomorphic predecessor, it is humanoid in shape. It has clawed fingers, pointed ears atop its head, and a short, poofy tail. It has a “collar” of flower petals, and a “cape” of two large leaves. It also has a flower that “floats” around next to it that can be used as a bomb.

- Species: Magician Pokémon
- Habitat: They seem to like a trainer
- Diet: Proooobably water and sunlight?
- Height: 4 feet 11 inches, or 1.5 metres

Behavior: Meowscarada is crafty, using its flower bombs as a surprise for its unaware foe. It can have a proud and jealous personality, and will be unhappy if its trainer gives someone else more attention.

Leaf Storm (リーフストーム Leaf Storm): Level 64 Grass-type move with STAB bonus and 90% accuracy. A storm of sharp leave swirls around him and it spirals at the enemy, which causes recoil and Sp Atk stat damage to him.

Energy Ball (エナジーボール Energy Ball): Level 42 Special Move with STAB bonus and 100% accuracy. Green glowing energy gathers around his chest and fires, an orb of it at the enemy.

Night Slash (つじぎり Crossroad Killing): Level-38 Dark-type Physical attack with STAB and 100% accuracy. Surprise slash at earliest opportunity; strong critical hit ratio.

Flower Trick (トリックフラワー Trick Flower): Learned at evolution. Grass-type Physical attack with STAB bonus. Always hits unless foe is semi-invulnerable (Dig, Fly). Throws a “bouquet” of flowers that is rigged to explode. Critical hit rate is 100%.

I'm answering prompt # 2: Sun! Sand! Water! It's a beach day! What's the pokemon doing at the beach!? Are they having fun in the water? Trying to build sandcastles? Maybe trying to steal a snack from someone?

Greenley is of a Hasty nature; he likes sweet food and dislikes sour food.

Name meaning:
- Tom; he roams outside like a tomcat because he is an outdoor kitty.
- Greenley; surname, Old English grene "green" + leah "woodland clearing." His owners' name.

Tom Greenley patrolled these woods routinely. His family owned a cabin nearby and he liked to "make the rounds," to ensure that there were no intruders, such as bears or wildcats. Regular cats were fine, of course. His family were only human, and a bear would be devastating to their home, their car, their food... He did not want any harm to come to them.

The property was mainly wooded, with a healthy spacing between trees; and shrubs grew at their bases, ready to catch anything that should fall from their branches, such as pine cones. Sight was very good. He did not need to travel very far to know that the area was safe. But he liked to wander, he couldn't help it really, and that was where his name came in. Tom, like a tomcat. A wandering male cat. It might not be the most original name on the planet, but he liked it. It was his name, after all.

As much as he liked to rove the woods, the setting never changed. He was bored. So today he decided to deviate, and followed the river until it came to a lake. Had the lake always been there? And that tributary he had considered a river, was that really a creek? Compared to this lake, it was a trickle. He could not even see to the far shore of the lake, it was so big.

There was something more. Sand. A strong wind blew, slapping his own fur against his flesh. A sandy shore had been carved by the constant wind and water erosion. And strangely, the sand was actually warm under the wind-whipped surface instead of hot on top and cool below, like one would expect at the beach. That's it. He was in some episode of The Dawn Sector, wasn't he? There was even a cat building sandcastles--

Tom did a double take. A cat? Building sandcastles??

The sound of sand scraping sand was a soft tickle in the ears. The litten's ears flicked, as if physically touched by the tiny grains of rubble. She was completely in the zone. She had her base, her towers, her drawbridge over a moat. And the moat just needed to be filled. Moat water sat in a bucket nearby. It was ready. It was--

"—ndcastles?"

An inquiring voice interrupted her very deep train of thought. The choo choo chugged to a slow halt as heavily approaching footfalls shook the ground beneath her butt. She did not have a good feeling about this.

"Hello?"

Líxiá eyed the sprigatito up-and-down over her shoulder and glared. Aw, at least give him a full look!

"What do you want?" Her words were thick with stubborn pride, testy. He had destroyed her zone, and he realized it immediately. He did not have much time to make a positive impression.

"I'm so sorry to bother you but I couldn't help but notice that you are building a sandcastle on the beach."

"Yes, my humans have a cabin nearby."

"Oh, what a coincidence! So do mine! I was wandering. I followed the river and arrived here." He put on a cheerful face. It was not just a mask, either. He was genuinely happy to meet a new, friendly face.

"River?" she rolled her eyes and sat up, then nudged her nose towards the stream. "You mean that?"

"Um, yes, well. I had nothing to compare it to. This lake, on the other hand, is vast!" he replied with a hint of awe to his voice. "Ah! Where are my manners? My name is Tom Greenley." He spoke with a most suave tone of voice, if he did say so himself!

She was not impressed. But she was amused. "Oh, that is a funny name because you are also green."

Greenl--? He cleared his throat softly and replied stiffly: "You may call me Tom."

"Oh." Wait, was she actually disappointed?

"I am named Líxiá," she said, pronouncing her name like lee shee-yah.

He tried her name several times and it did not roll off the tongue as he would have liked. Maybe if he had had more practice! "Can I call you 'Lee?'" He asked hopefully.

"You may not."

She was sitting so regally as she spoke. "Are you royalty?" he blurted out.

Líxiá merely smiled.

"Okay." So, maybe a less personal question. Like… "Why are you on the beach making sandcastles?"

"I happen to enjoy it. The design seems so simple, yet giving it the shape it needs has proven to be quite technical. Difficult."

"Yes, sandcastles are difficult." He could never get them to stay upright. "Say, can I help out?"

Líxiá studied the castle. "The moat needs filing. Everything else is complete. I suppose you may fill th--"

He did not wait to hear the end of that sentence. He was already grabbing the bucket of water and getting ready to pour it, only, things did not go as planned. In fact, it was a disaster. Stepping around the castle to reach it, he picked up the bucket. Then, turning to step forward, he tripped on an unknown object (probably some sand or his own foot), and sloshed the whole castle with water. Most of the water emptied out, destroying the structure.

A high-pitched scream ripped through the air, and Tom Greenley learned what Fury Swipes feels like.

"I'll kill you!" she Roared, and he believed her!

"For what it's worth, I'm sorry!" he cried. He took a great leap to get out of the immediate vicinity, but as soon as he landed two balls of fire also landed on either side of him, in close succession. He let out a stressed shriek and without looking back at Líxiá, bolted back through the sand and back to the stream.

"Argh! I am covered in sand and water! My castle is ruined!" Angry shrieks and growls followed him until he was out of earshot.

That was it! He wasn't going to wander off again like he had today, or greet a new neighbor or offer to help them! He was done with all of that. He was simply going to patrol from now on and be bored for the rest of his life.
