The party
Stepping inside Phee was glad to see while not dressed completely appropriately (the other women seemed to have much more formal attire!), she also didn't stand out too terribly. No, she saw a few others wearing slightly off kilter clothing like her own and she felt a little more comfortable seeing this. That was a help for her really, this was a new (and slightly worrisome) situation after all.
Wandering through the gallery slowly, she felt someone come to a stop behind her, and turned to see the tall Mega Houndooom woman standing just behind her, a warm smile on her face. "You made it, I'm so glad you did." she looked Phee over with an appreciative smile. "You look wonderful, I love what you chose for the evening. Seem's rather fitting given where you work, and how you were dressed there. A more high class punk. It's delightful!" it was!
"Come, let me show you around." a hand rested on Phee's lower back as she was gently propelled forward and shown around, introduced to several people as 'my special guest tonight, Phee' and so on. In all it was an amazing evening, and seeing the band on stage Phee was shocked to see it was a punk band playing for the crowd! She lifted her eyes to Alchemy, who merely grinned down at her. "I am a woman of many surprises. One of which is music is art, and I feature a different type of music each time I have an opening." "That's amazing. Most people don't understand, or accept that fact." "I am not like most people, something I hope you come to learn my dear Phee."
She found herself relaxing completely as she realized Alchemy was not a prissy woman like she had feared. Indeed she found her enjoying the music, singing along...and Phee watched her with amazement, a warm smile on her face. She'd never met another woman quite like her.
When the evening came to an end, it was with a feeling of reluctance that she found herself saying her goodbyes to Alchemy. The change of her thoughts was not lost on her. She was reluctant to come here, now she didn't want to go. The gallery was empty save for them, she'd stayed to help with a little clean up, and now they were standing outside as the doors were locked. It was close to two am, and while she was tired, she was surprisingly energetic.
"Thank you for inviting me tonight Alchemy, this was a lot of fun." "I must thank you for coming tonight, it made my evening that much more enjoyable having you at my side." she smiled down at the Manaphy and reached out a fingertip caressing blue skin, before she leaned down and was pressing a light kiss to that same cheek.
"Goodnight Phee my dear."
Phee gave some half articulated response before she was heading back to her store, to change out of her clothes before going home. All the while she swore her cheek was on fire from that touch and that kiss.
