~Finding Her Star~
Celeste had gotten through the scary forest, carrying the basket of potions she made close to her little body. Through beautiful dewy bushes, she found her way to a small but quaint cottage. Small little glows flowed through the air, as she got excited. She knocked with her spare hair-arm.
An older Hatterene opened the door, giving a warm smile. She looked weakened a lot, but held out an arms, “Celeste, dear… How I missed you… I’m so proud of you, coming here on your own…” Celeste hugged the Hatterene, “It’s nice to see you, Teacher… I made these for you! I tested it and everything. It should help you feel like a little hatenna again!” With a light chuckle, the Hatterene spoke, “How kind of you..” She gently pet the little one’s head, “Well then…come in. Let’s drink some.”
The two drank some potions and chatted for a while. After, Hatterene said, “I think it’s time for you to head home, before it gets dark. It’s your time to shine, little one… I know great things are soon to come… maybe even sooner than you think.” “Really? Is…it okay for me to leave you?” Celeste asked, worried. The Hatterene nodded, “That potion has given me strength, you don’t need to worry about me. Go continue to make me and your ancestors proud, okay? You’re doing great.” A bit teary-eyed, Celeste gave a little nod, “Of course! I’m going to be the best potion-maker ever!” She felt a powerful surge of determination. Her goal for her life was so clear, and every day it got clearer. She felt stronger than she did before, and was excited to strive. ”Good, my child. Make sure you stay on the path, okay?” ”Yes, Teacher!”
With that, Celeste readied herself to go home. She hugged her teacher one more time, then made her way back through the forest. The sights were less scary than they were before. She felt serene, safe… It was like she saw everything in a new light now that she felt a purpose. The noises of the forest and other pokemon didn’t scare her at the moment. She enjoyed the cold breeze as she wandered through.
But… about halfway through her journey, something caught her eye. Something glowing in the middle of the path ahead of her. She was curious, but cautious. She made her way over, seeing a little star. She had heard rumors of this, but at the same time, didn’t quite want to assume she knew what this was. But boy, was it beautiful. She was mesmerized, taking a moment just to admire it. Her little hair-arm reached out, touching it.
Within a moment, light overwhelmed her. She couldn’t see anything but light, so she quickly shut her eyes. One would think such a timid pokemon would be afraid. But… something about this just felt so warm. She wasn’t afraid… In fact, she was actually very excited! It was now time to open her eyes…
